Lube Oil – Automic Filters – Self-Cleaning

Type: ACP                                                Type: ACX

The ACP filters are automatic filters based on continuous backwashing driven by a hydraulic motor. They are totally independent from external power sources, as the driving oil is the same filtered oil.

These filters can control the Lube Oil Quality, removing from the system even the finest particles, such as the carbon residues with a size of a few microns, thus putting an end to the dangerous concentration of contaminants in the Lube Oil. The ACP filters can be designed to perfectly match the engine’s interface.

No external energy is required

ACP operates using only the energy from Lube Oil. Using filtered oil driven by a hydraulic motor for the continuous cleaning process eliminates the need for external power supply and compressed air.

Low backwash flow consumption

High backwash efficiency with no preferential routes, due to unique design, using small quantities of flushing oil prevents any significant drop in the operating pressure.

Total protection

High-quality ductile cast iron body. The stainless steel armored cartridge can withstand up to 10 bar (145 psi) of differential pressure. No overflow valves or second filter stage are required for the protection of engine parts, extending the life of the engine itself.

Just easy

ACP is easy to install, and easy to maintain since consisting of only one filtering element and few parts, regardless the size of the filter. No special tools or liquids are required. Easy also to retrofit as an upgrade of existing installations.

Lube Oil – Static Filters

Type: SX/DX

In many machining plants and for the trouble-free operation of all internal combustion engines, removing contaminants from a fluid process stream makes that fluid more valuable and increases product yields. A static basket filter placed strategically can eliminate many costly problems, protecting moving parts from wear and acting as a monitor for the whole circuit.

The SX/DX filters are modular and can be easily coupled with other static filters or in by-pass with automatic filters.

Static basket systems are indicated:

• as Safety Filters
• for Pump Protection
• for Turbochargers Protection

The features of the static basket system are:

• Resolve the existing problems. Protection Diesel engine’s injection pumps, exhaust, and piston rings.
• Minimize the impact on the environment. Since there is no need to dispose of used filter cartridges.
• More Advantages. Simple construction and easy maintenance does not require special tools, low operating costs, compact and lightweight.

Lube Oil – Self Cleaning Automatic Filters

Type: DACT

The DACT filters are automatic backwashing filters driven by an electric motor with cleaning “on condition” by pressure drop or timer. DACT/DACXT filters protect the Diesel engine injection pumps, exhaust valves and piston rings better than any other equipment.
DACT and DACXT filters may be installed either on the cold “Supply” side or on the hot “Booster” side, since they don’t use external backwashing fluids and the filtering element is made of stainless steel.

No competition:
No other filter on the market can match or even come close to the performances of DACT and DACXT for reliability, life span, easiness in operation and maintenance. Since 1982 thousands of DACT and DACXT filters have been installed worldwide.
No necessities:
No external medium for cleaning (like compressed air). No recurring cleaning of the filtering element, and of course no special cleaning tools or liquids. No maintenance whatsoever.
No weakness:
The filter operates continuously, with an accurate filtration degree (from 10 μm absolute).
The filtering element is a stainless steel armored unit capable of withstanding up to 10 bar (145 psi) differential pressure. The body is manufactured from EN-GJS400-15 cast iron under a strict quality system and has been approved by all major Classification Societies and Navies.
No pollution:
Since it does not use compressed air for backwash, DACT and DACXT do not produce algae or mud and do not pollute the oil with condensate or additives precipitations. No used cartridges to dispose of.
No fuel waste:
An extraordinary feature of DACT and DACXT filters is that they use a very small amount of backwash fluid, a lot smaller than the filter volume, resulting in a huge saving during operation. See below how this unique feature of DACT and DACXT works.

Static Filters for Fuel Oil

Type : ST/DT
